Before construction, D.B. Reetz verifies the job site (visual and laser) and checks on codes and setbacks for the property. To help with design, we have Computer Aided Design (CAD) available. Also, we provide design consulting, giving recommendations for aesthetics, structure and material selection. Because of our extensive product knowledge, D.B. Reetz provides detailed cost estimates and specifications with every contract. Because we have access to qualified subcontractors and consultants, D.B. Reetz can collect accurate subcontractor bids and provide generous allowances, as well as provide accurate pre-construction estimates with the projected length of the project. References are available for specific types of projects. D.B. Reetz will take personal interest in all aspects of your project from beginning to end.
During construction, D.B. Reetz uses only qualified carpenter crews, subcontractors, vendors, and materials. Inspections of materials and work are performed routinely. We verify all invoices, materials and subcontractors, and provide lien waivers and payment of invoices. D.B. Reetz continues to watch for design and product changes and provides change orders. We continually control and evaluate the budget, products, and procedures so as to maximize the savings. Regular progress reports on the project are gone over with the owner, and all questions are promptly followed up.
After construction, D.B. Reetz documents the final inspection and performs a punch list walk-through. There is a product warranty by the manufacturer and a one-year warranty on labor. Upon request, the owner is provided with a list of key subcontractors and vendors with their phone numbers. There is a follow-up survey and the promise of prompt service work.
